At Camping Boven ‘t Maaiveld it is wonderful camping for birds of paradise!

The West Frisian is down-to-earth by nature and a bit of ‘just act normal, then you’ll be crazy enough’. But let’s not do that for once! Come camping like never before, relax like you never did before and spend the night in a way you didn’t know could be so nice. Just get a nice story and especially make new stories.

Camping pitches for the 2026 season can be reserved from 1 December 2025. Please note: the Wijlandcabins will remain open. Come and relax, enjoy and make new stories all year round.

Centrally located between salt (sea) and sweet (IJsselmeer) you will find ‘Boven het Maaiveld’ beautiful new sanitary facilities, beautiful spacious camping spots, furnished tents and a cute tiny house. Make new stories by the campfire and enjoy an atmospheric performance in the Orangery. Read a book in the greenhouse and enjoy the view of the fields from the terrace. Drink a beer of paradise with cheese from the local farm or slide in during pizza night or bake them yourself on our ovens.
