West Friesland and the region between the sea and the IJsselmeer has a lot to offer for families and all within half an hour’s drive. In addition to the more famous ones on the IJsselmeer such as Fairytale Wonderland and the Zuiderzee Museum and Land van Fluwel and Landgoed Hoenderdaell towards the coast, you will find many – sometimes undiscovered – gems in between. There are too many to mention here, but a few to let the anticipation begin.
