GENERAL AGREEMENTS
Welcome, we are Camping Boven ‘t Maaiveld, and above all hope that you will find the freedom, peace and space to rise above yourself as a camping, relaxed bird of paradise. In other words: do many things that you may be shortchanging at home, such as relaxing, discovering and enjoying the unknown. But pay attention to a number of agreements that apply at the campsite so that it is and remains a wonderful holiday for everyone. The management reserves the right to intervene if things are not safe and/or cause nuisance. If this document does not provide a good solution, the general terms and conditions of Recron apply.
We are present at the campsite and/or easily accessible via the central campsite telephone number. Our reception is located in the greenhouse, if we are not there, you can ring the bell at the house or call us on 06-41611505. The day before departure you must pay the outstanding amount to us. For camping spots, the arrival is from 14:00 and departure before 11:00 so that we have time to prepare it for the guests after you. For the furnished tents and tiny house, after 15:00 for arrival and 10:00 for departure. This can be deviated from in consultation. If you want to stay a little longer, this is no problem if there are no guests after you.
We provide a nice and tidy camping spot and/or accommodation. If there is something wrong with it, we would like to hear about it. You are not supposed to prune, mow, dig, etc. yourself. On departure, we assume that you leave everything neat and reasonably clean. The camping spot is clean, wood and charcoal can be cleaned up and left in the bins. When you leave an accommodation, we expect you to leave everything neat and reasonably clean, the things are back in the right place, the dishes are done and swept if necessary.
If you want to change a booking, details, or appointment, we ask you to indicate this in time. This can be done by e-mail or by phone. We try to come out of it together within the possibilities.
We would like to receive a partial payment within 2 weeks after a confirmed reservation via the booking system. The remaining costs can be paid the day before departure. Check our cancellation policy to be sure. If the campsite is closed due to force majeure (Corona), you will receive a refund of all booking costs incurred regardless of the term. In the case of No show, there is no refund of the deposit paid on a camping pitch. For a furnished tent or other accommodation, we charge the full amount.
You celebrate your holiday at your own risk. All costs arising from damage to the site or an accommodation of ‘Camping Boven ‘t Maaiveld’ caused by the visitor will be borne by the visitor. It is not possible for us to accept any liability for damage or injury caused to the visitor(s), whatever cause of this damage or injury. Nor are we liable for the loss, theft or damage of property, including money. We advise you to take out travel insurance.
We have a natural and child-friendly site. Cars are therefore not allowed on the site. You can only bring the items to your place on arrival and departure. Parking is available in the parking lot. For example, to bring groceries to your place, you can use the wheelbarrows at the parking lot. Put them back here too. There is a maximum speed of 5 kilometers per hour on the campsite. Camping guests have priority. Please be considerate of children playing and relaxed (read: inattentive) adults.
Try to enjoy yourself without disturbing others. This would unnecessarily spoil other people’s holiday fun. Making music is allowed with acoustic instruments. If you want to listen to the radio or listen to some music, you can of course. In terms of volume, do this in such a way that others are not bothered by it. After 10:30 p.m., it must be whisper-quiet on the site. There may be a musical or theatrical activity in the greenhouse during your stay. These are public and indicated in advance in the agenda. It is possible that these will cause noise until a little later than 10.30 pm. However, never heavily amplified and electronic.
If you want, youcan make a fire Above Ground Level. For this we have a large campfire area near the greenhouse. In good weather, it is also possible to make a fire on your own camping spot. Always do this responsibly. This can only be done in a fire bowl and not in a fire pit because of falling charcoal. The pizza ovens are also suitable for a fire. Protect the turf from the heat of the fire bowl. Light a good hot fire and prevent too much smoke development and sparks. Don’t be a nuisance to your neighbors. Always have extinguishing water nearby. We have wood in stock and you can buy it from us, splitting and chopping. Be careful and attentive when chopping wood. Children are only allowed to chop wood under supervision. After consuming alcohol, it is forbidden to chop wood. It is allowed to barbecue. Then take the grass and your neighbors into account. Don’t put anyone in the stench or smoke, not even yourself.
Quiet dogs and pets are very welcome at our campsite. Pets must be kept on a leash. There is room in the village to let the dog run free. Please also note that other guests may not like pets.
We are connected to the sewer. Do not throw wipes and other (changing) products in the toilet that they are not intended for. There are more than enough waste bins and clean solutions available for this.
You can only empty the contents of your chemical toilet in the special room in the toilet building. This can be reached from the outside opposite the trampoline.
We keep the sanitary facilities as clean as possible. Help us with that, keep it clean and clean the necessary if you have used the toilet or bathroom. We use solar energy for heating the building and the water, save by taking short showers.
The greenhouse at the campsite is for lingering, reading a book, playing a game or having a local drink. Be welcome! There is a wood stove for the cooler days. Fortunately, it is often already pleasantly warm in the greenhouse.
Save the turf. Only use perforated groundsheet or preferably the so-called ‘growth mats’ through which the grass can grow. These are rubber mats with visibly small holes in them, for sale at any camping store. Digging holes and trenches in the terrain is prohibited, even in case of rain! 16. Visit Visitors are of course very welcome at the campsite. Always indicate this in advance and complete the visit before 21:00. We ask 2.50 euros per visitor.
